If Carnotaurus was in Terra Nova, Giganotosaurus should of already been in Terra Nova. It's already twice Carnotaurus' size. And for Jurassic Park, they possibly weren't sure about Spino. Giganotosaurus is somewhat better than Spinosaurus considering it's of the allosaurs, which is the most successful large carnivores.
